Twenty-four from Nigeria Female Students Liberated More Than Seven Days Post Abduction

A total of 24 Nigerian young women taken hostage from the learning facility over a week ago were liberated, government officials announced.

More than 1,500 children were taken hostage from Nigerian schools since 2014, back when two hundred seventy-six students were taken hostage amid the infamous large-scale kidnapping.

Recently, at least three hundred students and employees got captured at St Mary's School, a Catholic boarding school, situated in Niger state.

Several dozen people taken from learning institution managed to get away according to the Christian Association - yet approximately two hundred fifty are still missing.
