Mohamed Salah Offers Apology to Squad, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Mohamed Salah apologised to the team after the controversy from his televised remarks.
The Incident
He was omitted from a vital match subsequent to voicing frustrations and stating his rapport with Arne Slot had soured.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, please accept my apology.’”
The manager has refused to comment publicly on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.

He emphasized that the squad's reaction was unchanged. “Nothing about him changed, his demeanour was positive and we all treated him normally,” Jones added.
Jones also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “It's clear there are different methods you can handle situations,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Team Form
Their results have remained strong in the games following the initial controversy. He feels the Salah's words were not designed to cause disruption.
“If passion has boiled over, the source has been from a desire to win,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re gelling well as a team, getting results and on a positive run.”
