Tributes for Ella Cook
Ella Cook, a second-year scholar from Alabama, was remembered as “a wonderful, steady, devout, shining presence”, per the Birmingham's Cathedral Church of the Advent, which honored her memory at a gathering on Sunday.

The other deceased individual was MukhammadAziz Umurzokov from Uzbekistan, from Uzbekistan in his initial year at the Ivy League university, his family confirmed.
His name was officially acknowledged by Uzbekistan’s foreign ministry.
“He was exceptionally gentle, witty, and bright. He harbored grand aspirations of entering the field of neurosurgery and assisting patients,” his sibling Samira said in a online post.
The Shooting Incident
An additional nine individuals were injured in Saturday’s attack in the school of engineering of Brown’s university in Providence, during the university's examination week.
Authorities said on Sunday evening that a man aged 24 taken into custody in a search at a Hampton Inn about 17 miles from the scene earlier in the day was set to be freed.
“There is a killer at large,” stated the state's top prosecutor, Peter Neronha.
He continued, “Occasionally a probe goes down a path, and then you need to change course and pursue a different angle, and this is precisely what occurred over the last approximately one day.”
Ongoing Concerns
Brett Smiley, Brett Smiley, acknowledged: “It is expected to provoke new worry for our public”.
The assailant began shooting inside a classroom in the engineering building on Saturday, shooting over four dozen bullets from a 9mm pistol, a authority informed the media outlet.
Officers that searched the lodging seized two firearms and magazines when the suspect was arrested, as was reported.
The Wounded Victims

An educational institution, a independent school in the city of Durham, said a recent graduate, Kendall Turner, was in the group of seriously hurt victims.
Additional Memorials
Cook was remembered at a memorial in Birmingham on Sunday. A reverend stated, “She was an incredible, grounded, faithful bright light not only in her youth... but at the university she was an incredible light in that specific location as well.”
The president of College Republicans, Martin Bertao, shared a message from the organization. “She was famed for her courageous, valiant, and compassionate nature as she aided her club and peers,” he said.
